Granite Gables Shetland Sheepdog Breeder We are a Sheltie Breeder of the highest standards.Granite Gables Shetland Sheepdogs is located in the beautiful Granite Hills area of Colonial Valley in Grants Pass, Oregon.Our property on the rear adjoins Granite Hills Road and our home is the only house on the street with gables....Thus, the American Kennel Club Kennel name of Granite Gables. On our AKC audit visit in 2010 we recieved excellent in all categories. We remain in good standing with AKC. We have the standing of Breeder of Merit with AKC. Our Seven Acre estate called Shetland Manor is dedicated to the enjoyment of our Shetland Sheepdogs also known as Shelties. We are a small but dedicated Hobby kennel that strives to achieve the highest quality in our breeding program as set forth by the American Shetland Sheepdog Association. We are both retired so we can give much time to our family of Shelties. We show our Shelties in Conformation in AKC, CKC, and UKC events. Please check out our Championship page to see which dogs we have championed. Property is completely fenced and also several crossed fenced for our dogs to play in. Our dogs are not kept 100% in outside or inside kennels. As constant companions they share in our everyday family life. They enjoy the company of children, our guests and of course our family members on a daily basis. As a Sheltie Breeder our goal is to show and raise Shelties with sound bodies and minds, good temperament and beauty. We breed for ourselves but occasionally have Sheltie pups for sale and adult Shelties for sale to approved homes. All of our Sheltie pups are raised in our home and socialized to many different situations. Pet puppies are sold on a spay/neuter limited registration no exceptions. We generally have only one or two carefully planned litters per year. Our Shelties are tested at the appropriate age, lease feel free to check out and enjoy the rest of site.
